Research and Design Director
Trained in the Bauhaus tradition of multi-disciplinary art practice, Paul’s design principles are anchored at the intersection of technology and the humanities. He’s worked in software support and advertising roles, pioneering web and digital technology in retail and financial services. In recent years, Paul has focussed on user research, the transformation of Government services and tackling digital inequality. Thinkamigo is his baby.
Dr David Amos
A respected academic and educator, David has delivered research projects with the University of Nottingham, and Nottingham Trent University. As a former mineworker, David is the king of camaraderie and has plenty of experience with public speaking, TV and radio appearences. As co-founder of Mine2Minds education he delivers cultural outreach programmes in areas of structural unemployment.
After 13 years as literary editor of LeftLion magazine, James has become a one-man tourist information centre for Nottingham. He has established a whole range of digital storytelling platforms with Paul Fillingham, notably the Guardian Award-winning coded comic Dawn of the Unread, and the Sillitoe Trail. His obsession with literary rebels (especially D.H. Lawrence) is the driving force behind several ongoing web and social media projects.

Adrian is an accomplished TV and film scriptwriter who learned his trade in London advertising agencies. An unashamed geek who loves comics, he was a key member of the Dawn of the Unread creative team. He delivers inspirational business transformation programmes, and his heartfelt approach to corporate social responsibility might just save us all from extinction.
Steve has coded a number of Thinkamigo projects. Including, museum interpretation apps, aviation heritage trails and gamification features for Dawn of the Unread. A problem-solver with endless patience, Steve provides extra lift when the tech gets too heavy for mere mortals.
Andy created the cover image for Dawn of the Unread and has worked on character development for children’s books, science fiction stories and web platforms. He provided illustrations for our Ice Age museum app, which was co-created with school children and volunteers from Creswell Crags visitors’ centre.
