Paul Fillingham
Research and Design Director
Trained in the Bauhaus tradition of multi-disciplinary art practice, Paul’s design principles are anchored at the intersection of technology and the humanities. He’s worked in software support and advertising roles, pioneering web and digital technology in retail and financial services. In recent years, Paul has focussed on user research, the transformation of Government services and tackling digital inequality. Thinkamigo is his baby.

Dr David Amos
Heritage Officer
A respected academic and educator, David has delivered research projects with the University of Nottingham, and Nottingham Trent University. As a former mineworker, David is the king of camaraderie and has plenty of experience with public speaking, TV and radio appearences. As co-founder of Mine2Minds education he delivers cultural outreach programmes in areas of structural unemployment.

James Walker
Digital Storyteller
After 13 years as literary editor of LeftLion magazine, James has become a one-man tourist information centre for Nottingham. He has established a whole range of digital storytelling platforms with Paul Fillingham, notably the Guardian Award-winning coded comic Dawn of the Unread, and the Sillitoe Trail. His obsession with literary rebels (especially D.H. Lawrence) is the driving force behind several ongoing web and social media projects.

Prof Natalie Braber
Researcher
An expert in the field of sociolinguistics at the NTU School of Arts and Humanities, Natalie knows everything there is to know about pit talk. We have collaborated on a number of projects. Including, curation and exhibition design for Coal, Community and Change, print and audio production for Songs and Rhymes from the Mines, and image database development for The Coal Authority.

Gilbert Fillingham
Digital Marketer
Gilbert is a Google accredited online marketing consultant. He moderated his own online gaming community at an early age and is an accomplished freestyle BMX rider. During the Covid-19 lockdown, he co-authored the heritage title Banners and Beyond and helped develop the CREATE Thinkamigo blog.

Adrian Reynolds
Escape Consultant
Adrian is an accomplished TV and film scriptwriter who learned his trade in London advertising agencies. An unashamed geek who loves comics, he was a key member of the Dawn of the Unread creative team. He delivers inspirational business transformation programmes, and his heartfelt approach to corporate social responsibility might just save us all from extinction.

Steve Crofts
Web Developer
Steve has coded a number of Thinkamigo projects. Including, museum interpretation apps, aviation heritage trails and gamification features for Dawn of the Unread. A problem-solver with endless patience, Steve provides extra lift when the tech gets too heavy for mere mortals.

Andy Tudor
Illustrator
Andy created the cover image for Dawn of the Unread and has worked on character development for children’s books, science fiction stories and web platforms. He provided illustrations for our Ice Age museum app, which was co-created with school children and volunteers from Creswell Crags visitors’ centre.
